IMPORTANT NOTICE Subject: J&K SSB Class-IV Examination – request for special arrangement for examination of stranded candidates of snow bound areas of Bandipora & Kupwara district.
Reference: Div.Com/PS/ ACC/101/20-21 Dated: 26.02.2021 Whereas, the J&K Services Selection Board had scheduled OMR based objective type written examination for the Class IV posts in multiple batches on 27th, 28th of February and 1st of March 2021 from 12.00 noon to 2.00 p.m., and; Whereas, the first phase of the afore mentioned examination was conducted today on 27th, February 2021, and;
Whereas, the Board received communication from Office of Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir for considering the request of stranded candidates of snow bound areas of Bandipora, and; Whereas, vide letter No. SSB/Class-IV/2440-48 dated 26.02.2021, this office sought detailed particulars of such candidates from Deputy Commissioner Bandipora and Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, and;
Whereas, the Board received communication from Deputy Commissioner Kupwara vide No. DCK/PS/2021/200//782-85 dated 27.02.2021 and Deputy Commissioner Bandipora vide DCB/PS/2020-21/8988-91 Dated 27.02.2021 detailed particulars of such stranded candidates who were scheduled to appear in the said examination on 27th, February 2021, and; Whereas, the matter was examined by the Board and it was decided to explore the possibility of making alternate arrangements as a special concession in view of the situation created by fresh snow fall and vagaries of weather in the upper reaches of the Kashmir Valley particularly Gurez, Karnah and Machil.
Now therefore, in view of the above, it is notified for the information of such candidates figuring in Annexure A to this notice that their date of examination and venue/ examination centre has been fixed as shown against each.
