TRAFFIC PLAN & ADVISORY FOR 10-02-2021

 

 

NHW-44.

Tomorrow, subject to fair weather and better road condition, LMVs shall be allowed from *Jammu towards Srinagar including Ramban-Banihal* (local traffic) on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. TCU Jammu shall liaise with TCU Ramban before releasing the traffic.

 

 

Note;- The weight bearing capacity of installed bailey bridge is less than 40 metric ton.*

 

CUT OFF TIMING:

LMVs from *Nagrota (Jammu) 0600 hrs to 1100 hrs.* &

From *Jakheni (Udhampur) 0700 hrs to 1200 hrs*

No Vehicle shall be allowed before and after cut off timing

 

HMVs/Load Carriers

Only stranded vehicles in Udhampur jurisdiction shall be allowed towards Srinagar

*No vehicle including fresh perishables* shall be allowed in the opposite direction.

 

*SFs Convoy Movement*

Security Forces are advised/requested not to ply against advisory/traffic plan in view of traffic congestion on Jammu-Srinagar NHW and narrowness of Bailey bridge. They may ply from *Jammu towards Srinagar* after confirming the status of NHW.

 

 

*NOTE- On 12-02-2021 Friday , there shall be no traffic movement on Jammu-Srinagar NHW from either side in view of maintenance/repairing of the NHW.*

 

*MUGHAL ROAD*

Mughal road closed due to snow accumulation.

 

*SSG ROAD*

SSG road closed by the J&K Govt. vide DIVCOM Kashmir’s order No 400/2020 dated 30-12-2020 till further orders.

 

*ADVISORY*

People are advised to undertake journey on NHW-44 only after confirming status of the road from Traffic control units as under:-
