Last time her dad saw her was in class 10th and since then they couldn’t meet. Her Father Muneer Ahmad Khan is working in Saudia Arabia as a driver and due to COVID-19 he wasn’t able to come home last year. Since then her daughter has qualified two board exams. “When my dad went abroad,

I promised him that I will study hard. His absence made me more responsible to fulfill the promise,” she said adding that her mother Rubeena single handedly managed the whole family despite being alone at home and supported her all along during studies

He was so excited after hearing the news and threw a party for his colleagues there,” she said.

While talking to Kashmir Convener Tahreem dedicated her success to her parents especially mother-Rubeena who supported her during lockdown to study online,

posed trust in her and boosted her morale so that she could dream about getting the highest grades. With COVID-19 also playing a spoilsport,

Tahreem said that she self learned and prepared her lessons on the internet as she didn’t have any tutor during lockdown. She said with her parent’s support, she always studied with positive intentions in all the situations.

Tahreem said her role model is her father because he taught me not to lose hope and work hard.

“Despite hardships in life, he never gave up. He worked hard and even left his home to work in Saudi Arabia to support his family,” she added.

She said everyone must chase their dreams with positive intentions in their mind, which will help them.

Her mother also expressed happiness and said that they “wish to see her shine always”.

Tahreem is currently preparing for B.A LLB entrance exam of Kashmir University and wants to be a lawyer.
