Orders issued for mandatory B.Ed for teachers in J&K and Ladakh
Directorate of SAMAGRA Shiksha has issued an order asking all untrained teachers in J&K and Ladakh to enroll themselves in B.Ed course.
Subject: Enrolling untrained in-service Teachers/Lecturers/ Principals for B.Ed
Programme through IGNOU under ODL mode-reg.
In continuation to this office radar instructions issued vide No. Edu/SPD/SmS/336-64/2021 dated: 22-03-2021 and Edu/SPD/SMS/38848-71/21 dated: 23-3-2021, all the chief Education Officers/Principals of the DIETS across the UT of J&KX and Ladakh are hereby enjoined upon to ensure the enrollment of untrained in-service: teachers//Lectures Principals’ of School Education Department in the B.Ed Programme (2021)
through IGNOU under ODL mode. Further, they are advised to cover all the untrained in-service teachers’/Lecturers’/Principals’ in the said B.Ed Programme by directing them to submit demand draft @Rs. 25,000/- per candidate drawn in favour of “Project Director, Samagra Shiksha, JAX”
payable at Jammu slongwith admission forms/qualification certicates (graduation and above)/Affidavit stating therein, that the degree to be obtained from IGNOU under SSA-IGNOU (BED) project shall be used within the UT of J&K and Ladakh and beyond that, they shall be doing so at their own risk and
