Kashmir Education Initiative (KEI), a registered philanthropic organization working in the field of education for economically challenged students is looking for an IT Support Administrator who will be responsible for day-to-day support and administration of IT systems and platforms at KEI (Srinagar Office).

The primary duty involves managing the office IT infrastructure, a website, CRM, corporate email and document platform. This includes providing technical support for problems and issues via phone, email or face-to-face conversation with end-users. The person will also be responsible for implementing changes to platforms and systems on an as-needed basis.



Name of Posts: IT Support Administrator





Execute service requests end-user support (desktop, telephony, applications, connectivity etc.)

Execute standard changes such as create email accounts, AD users, share folders and backup data or restore files.

Procurement and deployment of IT equipment Day today maintenance and enhancement of KEI online platforms (Website, Sod al Media, CRM, databases etc.)

Keep knowledge base updated Facilitate and or conduct Scholar/Staff trainings on KEI platform technologies.

Audit and report on usage of and deviations from approved software and technologies



The IT Administrator needs to have a service-oriented mindset, strong technical interest and experience with general IT infrastructure and software.

Specifically, the candidate needs to have experience in the following areas: Experienced in providing end to end IT Support in areas of networking, system maintenance and administration Experienced in administering online platforms such as websites, social media platforms Basic knowledge of Website design and development using HTML and JavaScript.

Working knowledge of AD management, networking and routing Strong computer skills like MS Windows, MS Office, G-Suite (Drive, Docs, Email).

Experienced in tracking metrics and creating reports and dashboards Experience in building requirement analysis document, design document, & testing procedures.

Ability to document and resolve system support Issues Experience in creating user-focused & technical documentation and procedures.

Strong desire for service excellence, professional conduct and continuous improvement.

Strong written and spoken English Knowledge of databases and SQL is highly desirable but not required.




Bachelor or Diploma in IT or related discipline.

Working experience of 3-5 years in a technical support setting.

Hands-on experience in troubleshooting issues and resolving end-user issues IT certifications in one of the competency areas.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
