Weather update Jammu and Kashmir (22.10.21) : Currently, weather is partly cloudy in most places.

On October 19, India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted heavy rainfall or snowfall for Jammu and Kashmir on October 23.

Naresh Kumar, Senior Scientist, IMD said, “A great western disturbance is coming which will specifically affect the western Himalayan region.

So, we are expecting snowfall activity will be increased in the western Himalayan region.

We are expecting heavy rainfall or heavy snowfall in Jammu and Kasmir on October

FORECAST

Western Disturbance will affect Jammu and Kashmir from today morning onwards. It will start with cloudy weather.

Showers are expected at a few places till evening. (Kashmir Weather)

22th: Light Rain/Snow (over higher reaches) most likely in the late evening/Night)

23rd: Widespread Moderate Rain in the plains/Snow over higher reaches.

Some places on Higher reaches especially over Pirpanjal, hilly areas of South Kashmir May receive Heavy Snow.

24th: Light to Moderate Rain at many places.

25th: Generally Cloudy Sky, Light Rain May occur at isolated places.
