Registration of Pvt Coaching centres have expired; don’t enroll children: SED to Parents
Srinagar, Oct 20 : The School Education Department on Wednesday said the registration of private coaching centers of Kashmir division has already expired and have suggested the parents not to enroll their wards in such institutions.
In this regard, the communiqué was issued by the Director of School Education Kashmir (DSEK), a copy of which lies with the news agency.
“The validity in registration of private coaching and tuition centres has already expired, DSEK has issued an advisory for information of the general public in November 2017 followed by a series of advisories to the general public not to enroll their wards in un-registered coaching or tuition centres,” it reads.
DSEK said that in order to follow up the registration process of private coaching and tuition centres for the year 2021-22 either for renewal of their registration or getting fresh registration, the institution shall follow the criteria devised by the DSEK for the registration process for the year 2021-22.
“The registration of private coaching and tuition centres shall be submitted to the office of the District Monitoring Committee (DMC) headed by the Deputy Commissioner or Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) concerned by or before November-01-2021,” it reads.
The communiqué reads that the District Monitoring Committee shall ensure receipt of those documents and no application form shall be entertained without the requisite documents.
“Publishing of class-wise or subject-wise fee structure in the leading Kashmir based newspapers for information of the general public especially to the aspirant candidates who intend to get coaching in the particular centre,” read the communiqué.
It also reads that the publishing of details of faculty members to be hired by the private coaching or the tuition centres in the leading Kashmir based newspaper and also makes available the Aadhaar based biometric details of each faculty member hired by the institution—(KNO)
