NOTIFICATION
Srinagar, the 10th of December, 2021.
Tn exercise of the powers conferred by third provison to sub-rule (1) of rule 176 of the Jammu and Kashmir Police Rules, 1960,
and in view of delay in conduct of the recruitment to the posts of Sub- Inspector due to COVID-19 pandemic, the Government hereby prescribe
the upper age limit for direct recruitment to the 1200 posts of Sub- Inspector in the Jammu and Kashmir Police, advertised by the Jammu and
Kashmir Services Selection Board, vide No. SSB/Secy/2021/7926-42
dated 24.11.2021 as 30 years, which shall be 32 years in respect of the in-service Police personnel, as on 1st January, 2021.
