The Office of the Child Development Project Officer, Bandipora, has issued Advertisement Notice No: 04 of 2023, dated 21.12.2023, inviting applications for the recruitment of Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers) and Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers) under Phase 2 of the POSHAN Project.
Anganwadi Recruitment Background:
This recruitment drive is in accordance with Government Order No 222-JK/SWD of 2022, dated 30.11.2022, and has received approval through letter No: 103-JK(SWD) of 2023, dated 28.04.2023. Eligibility Criteria:
For Anganwadi Workers:
– Women candidates aged 18-37 years and domicile of UT of J&K are eligible.
– Minimum qualification: 10+2, with graduation being the maximum.
– Residence in the electoral ward of the Anganwadi Centre is mandatory.
– Preference to candidates with higher marks in 10+2.

For Anganwadi Helpers:

– Selection based on destitute/needy criteria, and preference to candidates within the family of retiring AWW/AWHs.
Anganwadi Recruitment Document Verification:
Shortlisted candidates must undergo document verification, providing original and self-attested copies of academic qualifications, domicile, date of birth, and other necessary certificates. Unmarried certificates, where required, should also be submitted.
